Sauers Uniforms & Workwear is a long-standing, family-owned local business serving the Fraser Coast for nearly 40 years. We’re looking for a friendly and confident Sales Assistant to join our Hervey Bay team. Your role is to help customers find the right uniforms, workwear and safety boots. Product knowledge isn’t required — we’ll teach you everything.

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in retail or face-to-face sales
• Retail experience in brands like Noni B, Rivers, and Jeanswest is preferred for this role.
• Strong selling ability and proven history of meeting sales targets
• Ability to recommend products and build customer confidence
• Reliable, mature, and able to follow established processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Fast learner with strong product interest
• Ability to work some Saturdays

What We’re Looking For

• Assist customers in-store with uniforms, workwear, footwear and accessories.
• Confidently recommend suitable products
• Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing store, with merchandising focused on driving sales
• Learn our core brands and provide knowledgeable advice
• Process sales through POS accurately and efficiently
• Handle stock checks, replenishment, online pickups and basic admin
• Support customer requirements for embroidery and logo decoration
• Contribute to a positive team culture and consistent store performance
